International Symposium on Additive Manufacturing

The Future of Manufacturing and Biofabrication

ISAM 2019 is organized by Additive Manufacturing Research Center (AMC) for Mass Customized Product of National Taipei University of Technology (Taipei Tech) and held in Taipei Taiwan from 28th August to 2nd September. This symposium provides a global platform to promote research, international collaboration, and dissemination of knowledge in the field of additive manufacturing (AM), biofabrication, novel AM method for mass customized production and new trend development.

ISAM provides three days of cutting-edge research and thinking in Additive Manufacturing and 3D Printing, young researcher oral presentation and maker training course. The event brings together leaders from academia and industry to share knowledge and ideas, and most importantly deliver experience inheritance to young researchers. Furthermore, AMBE (International Forum on Additive Manufacturing and Bioengineering) is merged into ISAM this year. AMBE was initiated by Dr. Cho-Pei Jiang and Dr. Nobuhiko Kojima. AMBE was held successfully in Yunlin Taiwan (2015), Yokohama Japan (2016), Yunlin Taiwan (2017) and Yokohama (2018). ISAM invites famous scholars to share the development tendency of additive manufacturing but also focusing on biofabrication. Therefore, this event encourages students and young researchers to present their research result and share an idea to stimulate the new idea for varying applications.

ISAM is organized by The Additive Manufacturing Center for Mass Customization Production
The Featured Areas Research Center Program  within the framework of the Higher Education Sprout Project
by the Ministry of Education (MOE) in Taiwan.
