大量客製化積層製造研發中心主要發展具工業量產力的積層製造(3D列印)技術並提供完整量產解決方案，成為新型態的客製化量產產業模式。由本中心技術研發與產業合作，將積層製造由製作、製造、到生產，其所需的技術開發與整合，是本中心發展主軸與目標。
本中心專注於協助產業應用積層製造技術，以滿足未來大量客製化之產業趨勢，整合：量測技術、分析/建模技術、材料設計技術、積層製造技術、確效評估技術，並針對民生、醫療、與工業等三應用主軸方向，提供各類型態之製造產業轉型與智慧自動化之核心能力，結合大量客製化之新興製造技術，蓬勃產業發展，以培育人才與產業連結為目標，協助國內廠商技術之創新，成為全球生產製造供應鏈之核心。
The Additive Manufacturing Center for Mass Customization Production mainly develops industrial productivity additive manufacturing (3D printing) techniques and provides complete production solutions to achieve the new type of mass customized mass production model. The center aims at research, development, and integration of manufacturing and production techniques and seeks for industrial cooperation opportunities.
The center focuses on assisting industry for the application of additive manufacturing and keeps up with the trend of mass customization by integration of measurement techniques, analysis and modeling skills, material design, additive manufacturing techniques, and validation assessment techniques for the industrial, livelihood, and medical industries for the future. The center provides industry assistance for the upgrade, advancement, and combination of automation intelligence and emerging mass customization manufacturing techniques to flourish Taiwan's industrial development. With the goal of cultivating talent and linking industry, the center will assist domestic manufacturers in technological innovation to become the cornerstone of the global manufacturing supply chain.
設置要點
第一章 總則
第一條（設置目的）
為促進積層製造技術之研發、快速客製化生產技術及其產業應用的發展、及相關人才的培育，特訂定本要點，以規範研發中心之設置、管理及運作。
第二條（法源依據）
本要點依據國立臺北科技大學研發中心設置暨管理辦法第二條第四項訂定之。
第二章 組織與人員
第三條（組織架構）
研發中心應設置主管一人，並得視需要設技術研發組、產業合作組及行政管理組。
第四條（人員資格）
研發人員應具備相關專業背景或實務經驗。
第五條（聘任與管理）
人員之聘任、考核及獎懲，依相關人事規定辦理。
第三章 業務範圍
第六條（主要業務）
研發中心之業務包括：
一、積層製造技術與製程優化之研發。
二、高性能積層製造材料（如陶瓷、金屬及複合材料）之開發與應用。
三、快速客製化生產技術之產學合作專案執行與技術移轉服務。
四、積層製造專業人才培訓與國際學術交流。
第四章 中心營運及經費
第七條（營運目標）
建立具備國際競爭力之積層製造技術平台，推動產業數位轉型與智慧生產。
第八條 （設備管理）
中心內之3D列印機、後處理設備及材料測試儀器應建立使用規章，並指定專人負責維護與校正。
第九條 （經費運用與核銷）
各項經費支用應符合學校會計程序，並以產學合作收入與補助經費落實自給自足為原則。
第五章 成果管理與績效評估
第十條（成果與績效）
中心應定期追蹤論文發表、專利申請、產學合作金額及技術授權件數等關鍵績效指標。
第十一條 （監督與考核）
中心應配合校方規定，定期提交年度營運報告，並接受研發處之績效評鑑。
第六章 附則
第十二條（修正程序）
本要點之修正，以研發中心教授之成員，依相關程序辦理。
第十三條 （施行日期及廢止）
本要點自發布日施行，於本研發中心裁撤時廢止。
